Pipi... Peepee!!!

Chou-chou went pee in the toilet... TWICE today!! I know he's really young (15.5 mos), but we bought him a toilet seat yesterday because he has seemed really interested in pipi and caca for about a month now. He says byebye to his diapers and to our ahem when we go in front of him. We thought it would just be "fun" to get him in the routine of going to the potty like Mama and Dada before he goes to bed and when he wakes up. And he thought it was great fun! Last night we tried sitting him on his Diego seat he thought it was fun, but he didn't go. He got to flush and all anyway, of course! Then this morning we put him on as soon as he woke up, and sure enough he tinkled! And then when I peed later in the morning he seemed to want to try again, and he went again! So this is all new territory for us, and I'm sure it will be a couple year process, but now I'm wondering how to proceed. I think I'll just keep doing what we've been doing in the new house, which is dump his poopey diapers into the toilet in front of him, then flush and say bye bye to it each time. No pressure, of course. And his diaper is still wet all the time, so it's not like he's capable of holding it yet. Anyway, yay for pee!!
